This image is called 'Renew'. The girl is running through the forest and suddenly stops among the butterflies and birds. Here is a moment of enchantment and it is like being caught in time. The best way I can think of to try and describe it is an eternal transition. Spring is very near and Winter is beginning to fade away. Even a few Fall leaves remain. Sunlight softly and gently breaks through the overhead branches...
I began this image with sketches in pencil and then again in color pencil. Then in PS or PSP(or both)I refine the sketches, enhance colors, use brushes and work on the actual composition. This may not be the easiest way but it gives me a little better control.
I hope to get a critique on the atmosphere,lighting,figure..or anything else you see that I can improve upon.
